Gary M. Gorman has been a practicing Chiropractor for 37 years. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic and then completed a post-doctoral program in chiropractic clinical neurology, earning board certification. After many years in private practice, he joined RiverBend Medical Group, a large multidisciplinary medical practice, and remained on staff during the transition to Trinity Health of New England.
Dr. Gorman joined the clinical staff of Strength for Life Health and Fitness in 2020. He specializes in nonsurgical neuro-musculoskeletal disorders. Having developed a cooperative and extensive network of medical professionals in a variety of specialties, he continues to utilize a multidisciplinary approach to treating patients.
Dr. Gorman has been an adjunct faculty instructor at Springfield College in both the Rehabilitation and Disability Studies and Health Science Departments since 1999, teaching courses in applied anatomy and integrated medicine. He is a monthly guest on Westfield’s community cable Wake Up Wednesday health and wellness show and has appeared as a health care expert on WWLP’s Mass Appeal.
A lifelong athlete, Dr. Gorman created a series of cable television exercise videos for adults of all abilities, which have been aired in communities across the country. He coaches high school girls track and field and was twice named Assistant Coach of the Year for Western Massachusetts. A former runner, he now enjoys cycling, hiking, and power walking.
